Krita

I’m super happy that I was able to move away from Adobe Photoshop and found a great open source alternative for my artwork: Krita.
The migration to Krita took only a few minutes of learning/finding the necessary tools. Krita offers everything I need.
After Adobe has recently kicked out innocent artists in sanctioned countries, I will abandon any Adobe product from my computers. The Photoshop->Krita replacement is the first step, more to come. Check out https://krita.org/en/

Merry Xmas!

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas time with this beautiful duet of Johannes Oerding and Max Giesinger.

The a capella version by Pentatonix is legendary as well.

Leonard was the legend who brought this song to us.

Time Machine

Super excited to share my remix for the one and only Alicia Keys!

Super exciting project because in this Splice remix contest the task was to create a 1 min. remix as a video for Instagram. I love the voice and the positive aura of Alicia so I tried to transfer it into the atmosphere of my music. Video clips are from the original Vevo music video and property of their corresponding owner.

Enjoy my atmospheric version of „Time Machine“:

Everything I Wanted

I’m totally fascinated by the very special voice of Billie Eilish. Can’t stop listening to “Everything I wanted”. The dark atmosphere of this song is so big.
Already the beginning of the song with side-chained and low-pass filtered piano is a great start. Then the kick drops in like a heartbeat. Her voice completes the atmosphere. Wow!

Sounds great in a live performance as well.

A short documentary about Billie Eilish:

Electrifying Lights

The commercial for the new Mercedes Benz full electric ECQ caught my attention because of its background music.

It’s actually from Weeknd, the title “Blinding Lights” fits well to a car commercial. It’s weird because the music style is somehow old but new at the same time. I especially love the distorted bass.

Used to love

Love this new crossover song, combining the beautiful melancholic voice of Dean Lewis with the energy of Martin Garrix. The build-up between 0:40 and 0:57 gives me goosebumps.  Great job and cool video atmosphere!
