I didn’t make it in time, missed the contest deadline by 2 hours (Splice had the deadline at 6 am in the morning), therefore my remix is only available this time on Youtube.
A classic hit recently crossed my way: Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel alias Simon & Garfunkel published their masterpiece “Sound of Silence” in 1964, a long, long time before we had music streaming. It reached Gold in the Unites States and sold more than one million physical copies.
It’s a classic hit, kids are singing it in music lessons in school. Simon & Garfunkel have become a little older in the meantime but the song still sounds great.
And it is is still super popular. The original version by Simon & Garfunkel currently has 165 Mio. plays on Spotify. The heavy metal band “Disturbed” created a great remake of this song with the razor blade voice of David Draiman, it has even more than 214 Mio plays on Spotify.
Proud to present my latest remix: “Down For Anything” is a track originally by Sam Feldt & Möwe. It was a pleasure to work with the melody and the great vocals of Karra. I tried to give it my own touch. If you like it, you can support my music with a vote at Spinnin’ Records:
