The songs of Ed Sheeran are normally quite “slimy”, a lot of love, romance, like your body, etc. The original song “I don’t care” together with Justin Bieber is also not really one my favorite songs. However, the acoustic version of this song is great. It has a Samba rhythm swinging in the background, starting with the guitar, later supported by percussion. Great tune and also the first Ed Sheeran song I like.

Can I have this song please without the main vocals but just with the excellent vocal effect “Carry on for you” of the refrain? Once again excellent work done by Kygo. The side-chained, soft kick drum provides an excellent support for the main signature of this song, the refrain vocal effect. Still wondering how this effect was done, probably a combination of vocal chopping and vocal synthesis based on a flute or another wind instrument.

The German singer/songwriter Johannes Oerding already impressed with his hit “Kreise” in 2017. Now, in 2019, he published another great song “An Guten Tagen”. It has an excellent pop beat, a beautiful refrain melody and a very positive forward-driving attitude. Would love to transfer this into an electronic cover.
